Three people were injured in a four-vehicle crash on Cairo Road Thursday afternoon. Paducah Man Transferred From Louisiana Hospital

A Paducah man who suffered a heart attack while in Louisiana is now in his hometown hospital. Don Alvey and his wife Judy were flown to Barkley Regional Airport from Monroe, LA Thursday evening. A power outage Thursday afternoon affected about 158 customers in downtown Paducah, and also disrupted traffic flow. Demolition work is coming along on the old Ledbetter bridge. Keith Todd with the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet says a KYTC contractor has completed saw cutting of decking on the three main spans of the bridge. The state has approved funding to pay for repairs to a rough stretch of Paducah roadway.
